The Must-Have Pieces You Need in Your Closet

There is a common ground in most wardrobes where people agree on their wardrobe essentials. Pieces that you can't live without and that you always count on to complete an outfit, or accessories that can dress up what would otherwise seem a "too casual" look.

We've compiled a collection of our go-to essential pieces in our wardrobe that never let us down!

1. The Plain White Tee

A must-have in every wardrobe, it pulls together both casual and formal outfits, and is by far the most useful piece of clothing in your wardrobe. Layer it under a statement piece of outerwear or alone on the weekend.

2. The Elegant Blazer

A well-tailored blazer will pull together a work look you’re not sure about, or can act as a substitute for a heavy jacket if the weather is not quite cold enough. It can also be something to throw over a cocktail dress if you can’t find quite the right jacket. Your blazer will become your saviour.

3. Slip-Ons

Whether it is a sneaker, mule or sandal, I thank my lucky stars every day for my slip ons. They’re so easy to walk in but still chic enough to wear with more formal outfits. Goodbye blisters!

4. Black Trousers

An easy Monday to Sunday look, for work or brunch. Easily dressed up or down, these will be your go to if you’re not sure about what to wear. They look super chic with your slip on sneakers too.

5. Dark Wash Denim Jeans

Appropriate for work, so versatile and don’t stain as easily as light wash denim, thank goodness! Looks great with anything from sweaters, to white button downs, to crop tops. Another life saver when you haven’t had time to plan an outfit.

6. White Button-Up Blouse

Offers dimension under a sweater or dress, and is perfect for both work or casual meetings.
