    Go-to Ponchos

For Every Wardrobe For Every Trip

Sometimes styling can be influenced by your lifestyle, where you are living and in my case sometimes mood. My wardrobe ranges from timeless classic, to rock chic, to even bohemian on occasion!

What style of knitwear can cope with so many mood changes? The Poncho.

With flowing lines and flexibility to style, you can add a belt, brooch or accent jewellery and you can completely change the look and vibe of an outfit.

In Hong Kong I loved to style the Round Neck Poncho with cargo pants and a biker boot. Whilst the Hong Kong winter is overall quite mild, I still liked to enjoy a sense of changing seasons. The lightweight Round Neck Poncho with its asymmetric cut allowed a wonderful mix of contemporary with urban cool.

In Sydney you see it in a seasonal flash of burgundy that lends itself to being a statement in itself.
Despite being outerwear it is akin to a sweater, being lightweight enough to wear indoors too.

In a similar vein, the Poncho Hoodie is a twist on giving new styling to a hoodie but with more contemporary drama. Worn over the most basic jeans of whatever cut you like immediately results in a styled , effortless look. Warmer than the aforementioned round neck, it also lends itself to additional layering and is cozy enough for a chilly winters morning in the Big Apple.

The V-Neck Poncho is perhaps the most conventional of our poncho styles, but that all changes with an accessory such as a Fedora. It also can be worn three ways, as a V-Neck Poncho or twisted around for a shorter style with a boat neck. Given the wonderful fineness of cashmere it makes for a generous scarf on an extreme winter morning too. Whatever the weather or your personal style, a poncho is the best piece you can add to your wardrobe this year.

    Happy Travels!
