    Father's Day Gift Guide

Gifts your Dad will actually want this Father's Day

Father's Day is the day we can show our dads how much they mean to us. For many of us, our father is the person we looked to for help and support (sometimes for a literal hand up). This is when we get to show our gratitude for all those years of love, often repeated stories, and bad dad jokes!

This Father's Day we want to share with you a few gifts your dad will actually want, as well as a few creative ideas to make it a day to remember.

It seems fitting that in return for the time and care given to us by our fathers, we spend some quality time with them. Those of us that live in different cities or countries from our fathers can sometimes be tempted to use technology out of convenience.

However, this Father's Day we'd like to challenge you to Skype him instead of texting, jump on a call instead of leaving a Facebook post on his wall, or even write him a hand-written letter.

There's nothing quite like the old-fashioned tradition of opening your letterbox to find a birthday card, post-card, or note from someone you love!

If your loved one has passed, perhaps make a donation to his favourite charity or a cause that was close to his heart.

If you're lucky enough to be able to visit your father, sometimes it's better simply to take the time out of our busy schedules to be with our dads. Why not fire up the BBQ, organise a hike or book a nice meal somewhere?

So take the chance this Father's Day to be with your Dad, and show him that you notice the things he does for you.
